Seebohm Eggs of British Birds

Antique egg print by Henry Seebohm (1832 - 1895) a noted British Botanist and Ornithologist, most notably the author of The History of British Birds.  This beautiful  and wonderfully accurate collection of Bird Eggs, in highly finished detail was originally published by Seebohm's History of British Birds.  A new single volume book, Coloured Figures of the Eggs of British Birds, containing all of the egg drawings was planned by Seebohm and completed after his death by R. Bowdler Sharpe of the British Museum.  These antique bird egg prints are taken from the book and are original antique prints, not reproductions.   Images are printed on heavy stock with slight age toning, actually the paper appears cream colored, with some foxing in the margins none affecting the images, colors are clean and bright.  All image scans are accurate to condition.
