Description: Audubon's antique handcolored lithograph of the Long Billed Curlew shown with male and Female. This print is most notable not only for the magnificent Curlews but the background includes the view of the City of Charleston.
The antique print is in very good condition with age toning to the paper, which is normal for the age of the print. Slight discoloration of the paper on the very left margin is probably due to a previous non-archival matting. Beautiful hand colored stone lithograph with soft colored background characteristic of second edition prints with bright true coloring, guaranteed original.
Original print is sold matted with antique colored archival matting and backing. Included with the antique print is the original text as available,.
RedHouseCollection watermark is on the digital image only, not on the actual antique print. Information about matting and framing our antique prints - Click Here.
