Description: This reproduction antique map is on display at the National Archives museum in Washington, D.C. The map shows cities, towns and the railroad network with line names. Includes distance chart. Inset in the top center is a view of "Maine Building Centennial Exhibition, Philadelphia, 1876". Bottom left insets include Independence Hall and the Declaration of Independence. At the right the nation's capital is shown and a chart of all of the Governor's of the States and Territories. George Washington's engraved likeness is present just above the map titles. Our map are reproduced from our original antique maps, which are scanned at a very high resolution then general restoration is done (major defects, tears, fox marks are removed), the natural patina of the aged map is maintained. We size all maps to the original ensuring no distortion and finally we will add borders as needed to support matting and framing. This fine art giclee map reproduction is printed on heavy weight matte archival paper with Ultra Chrome inks with light fastness ratings of up to 100 years. Shipped rolled in tube.
