Issued by Duval as a lithograph and also as a folded map included with “Sketches of the Battles of Gettysburg, With an Explanatory Map”, compiled by Ditterline from eyewitness accounts (published by C.A. Alvord, NY, 1863). Of the Gettysburg battlefield maps prepared soon after the battle this is the best in terms of showing battle lines and place names.
